Lansdown Hall & Gallery offers flexible, well-equipped spaces in the heart of Stroud for performances, exhibitions, classes, meetings and private functions.
The first-floor Hall is a multipurpose events and classes space with a stage, PA system, stage lighting and an HD projector, seating up to 150 or holding 250 standing. The ground-floor Gallery is a light, flexible white space in our Grade II listed building, used for exhibitions and also available for meetings and small events.

Lansdown Hall is a versatile first-floor multipurpose space in the heart of Stroud, suitable for both events and classes. It seats audiences of up to 150 and holds up to 250 standing, and regularly hosts theatre, live music, film screenings, seminars, classes and private parties. PA, stage lighting and projection equipment are available to hire, with experienced technical staff available where required. A stage and bar are on hand, with step-free access available via Bank Gardens.

Use of the Hall Projector and Screen. HDMI and VGA connections are available. Please let us know what device you intend to connect. Hirers must provide any adaptors required for their device.
Two SIA Licensed security staff for a two- hour period. Security may be required for certain events depending on the nature of the event and licensing/ risk requirements.
Lighting options for Hall events, from a simple party lighting package to the full stage lighting system. Full stage lighting must be operated by an approved Lansdown Hall and Gallery technician; technician charges are additional

Gallery Hire Exhibition/Meetings/Small Events

The ground-floor Lansdown Gallery is a light, flexible white space in our Grade II listed building, available for hire on a weekly basis from Tuesday to Monday. The Gallery is also available to hire for meetings and small events (typically evenings, after 6pm). With high ceilings, quirky windows and a welcoming atmosphere it suits committee meetings, workshops, talks and other small gatherings for up to 50 people. Ramped access with an assistance bell makes the gallery fully accessible.
